The Opportunity

Global Village Concerns, Inc. (www.globalvillageconcerns.com) is looking for an inside sales professional who is interested in leading and developing our National inside sales team. Based in San Diego, CA, Global Village Concerns (“GVC’) is a branding and marketing services company that helps Schools everywhere get competitive wholesale pricing with custom designs for all of their apparel needs.

This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years sales experience preferably in the Apparel Industry. Our Inside Sales Director is a highly sought-after position. Responsibilities

  • Help Build & Develop our Inside Sales Division- Selling customized apparel and other products to Coaches, Athletic Directors, Boosters, and Faculty Members
  • Help Identify & Close all Potential Sales Opportunities
  • Creatively identify new programs, prospects, and other opportunities for interaction
  • Help Identify & Close all Potential Sales Opportunities

 

Skills

  • A desire to build and develop an inside sales force
  • Hands on experience and ability to take initiative
  • Reliable, organized & detailed oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and GREAT communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (i.e. MS Office/ Word, Excel, Powerpoint and email)
  • A passion for education and helping others in need is a serious plus!

 

Hours: 40 hours a week

Compensation: Competitive Commissions paid on all Direct Sales
